A Salute to the Master Wes Craven: Presented by The Masters of Horror

To celebrate the iconic work of one of the true master’s of horror, we are proud to present this special double-bill screening.

The Serpent & The Rainbow is Craven’s masterful exploration of a tale of horror loosely based on a true story.

Dr. Dennis Allan (Bill Pullman), a Harvard anthropologist from the States, is sent to Haiti to find a miraculous powder purported to bring the dead back to life.

The cynical scientist quickly finds himself on a nightmarish journey through the darkest heart of voodoo and black magic when he starts meddling in things he doesn’t understand, namely ancient curses and blood rites.

Craven’s brilliant gem presents voodoo in a beautifully realistic manner whilst keeping a constant sense of palpable supernatural dread.
