FREE Screening in El Rey’s Theater @Egyptian
Presented by Shock Till You Drop & BH Tilt

Shock Till You Drop is proud to be collaborating with BH Tilt to bring you a FREE screening of The Town That Dreaded Sundown at Beyond Fest. This is L.A.’s chance to get a look at one of the hottest horror films hitting the screen this fall before it opens October 16th.

Based on a terrifying true story, THE TOWN THAT DREADED SUNDOWN picks up sixty-five years after a masked serial killer terrorized the small town of Texarkana, when the “moonlight murders” begin again. Is it a copycat or something even more sinister? A lonely high school girl, with dark secrets of her own, may be the key to catching the murderer.

With THE TOWN THAT DREADED SUNDOWN, two innovative producers shepherding some of the most exciting genre talent today – Jason Blum (INSIDIOUS, THE PURGE) and Ryan Murphy (AMERICAN HORROR STORY) – come together for a film that eschews the archetypal approach to remakes.

Director Alfonso Gomez-Rejon crafts a clever whodunit set in a town where time has seemingly stopped, frozen for decades in the wake of a killing spree. But it’s ready to move on. His visual style is urgent and powerful and on full display. If you’ve seen his work on AMERICAN HORROR STORY, you ain’t seen nothing yet.
